G'day All,

I thought I might share my initial and independent review of the WindevCon 2007 Windev course DVD from Fabrice Harari that I received two days ago by snail mail. I ordered it on the 29 Dec 2007 and received it on the 9 Jan 2008. Not bad with all the holidays thrown in.

First of all I have to say that it is very professionally produced with fantastic attention to detail. I love the no nonsense licensing "The software and course are to considered as a book, you can read it, you can lend it to somebody else,...".

I wanted to attend the WindevCon 2007 event because I am still a newbie to Windev and struggle at times to get my head around the Windev way of doing things. NOT anymore!

Fabrice has spent a lot of time on this DVD and it shows in many ways...
1. it is very logically laid out,
2. it is very easy to listen to and watch (compelling),
3. it contains so many tips and tricks (and sample projects) in doing it the WinDev way.

I am only up to the second chapter (10 more to go!) but I feel that this course is worth every cent already. I will be buying the WebDev and WinDev Mobile courses when I have a need to use these products.

If you are a new to Windev I cannot recommend this DVD enough. I am BLOWN AWAY by how good it is! If you are an old Windev hand and did not attend WindevCon 2007, then you do not know what you are missing out on (and No, I am not affiliated with Fabrice in anyway other than being a very very happy customer of his after buying this course).

So, do yourself and the Windev community a favour and buy a copy of this Windev course or the WebDev course or the WinDev Mobile course or better still, all three.

Fabrice will hopefully share more of his experience if we continue to support his efforts in producing this great resource for the English speaking WinDev community (the only one I know of, NOT from PCsoft).

Thanks, Fabricec16!

Regards,

Chris Vawser
